Wall Street Journal Features Gig Harbor-Based Real Carriage Door Company

The national newspaper included two examples of the Gig Harbor company's work in an article about sliding barn doors in urban designs.

A Gig Harbor-based door company was highlighted in the Wall Street Journal on Thursday.

Real Carriage Door Company received two mentions in the WSJ's story about how sliding barn doors are making their way into urban designs.

One example was one of the company's doors used in an Atherton, CA home that cost a total of $16,800.

The other was a door that separates a garage and a garden that costs $8,000 to $9,000.

For those who don't know, Real Carriage Door Co., crafts out-swing carriage garage doors and manufactures barn door hardware. It specializes in swing-out wood doors, sliding garage doors, bi-folding garage doors, and sliding barn door hardware.
