Words Can't Describe...

An Act of Love

The rain stopped, the sun was out and the air was crisp...Rocky, Katie & I hit the harbor for a morning walk.  It was a gorgeous morning, the kind that makes you feel so grateful.  Our walk was fun...Rocky got a few big smiles as he carried a very large stick (tree branch) on our way back to the truck.  We were coming up to the corner to make the turn to Crescent Creek Park when we came upon a man and his dog...He was carrying his dog out for a "potty break", his wife walking behind him.  We stopped as to not bother or scare them.  They noticed us and the man picked up the dog and carried him further from the sidewalk to have some privacy.  My heart ached for a moment for the dog and his owners, but then filled with love as I acknowledge we were witnessing true devotion.  Dogs love us no matter what...Doing the same for them is the least we can do...
