A Facebook user wrote that she knows the family in one of the vehicles involved and gave Patch users an update on the condition of one of the victims Friday. According to Mariah:
3 year old lil girl in hospital. Everyone please pray for my friends daughter. Instead of complain about traffic. They were just at the park:(!!
Later she wrote:
Thank you for the prayer. She needs stiches in a few spots. Has concussion and in and out of sleep. They are monitoring her over night.. They baby boy is doing good so far. hug the ones u love often.....you never know when something can happen.

Cameras from the Washington State Department of Transportation showed an accident at State Route 16 and State Route 302 around 3:30 p.m.
We started hearing reports and seeing Tweets that it was an injury accident. It looks like it's starting to clear up now.
