Here's a list of what offices will be open for Presidents Day which is Monday, Feb. 18:
City of Gig Harbor: Closed.
Peninsula School District: Closed
Pierce County Library System: Closed.
Pierce County government: Closed.
State of Washington: Closed.
Washington State Ferries: All routes will operate on a normal schedule. Passengers may encounter heavy traffic returning from the San Juan Islands to Anacortes and should plan their travel accordingly.
Federal government (including the U.S. Postal Service): Closed to honor Washington's Birthday.
Banks: Many, if not most, will be closed.
Express delivery companies: FedEx and UPS will be open.
