Art quilt exhibit

"Colors of the Harbor," an exhibit of art quilts by the local group STITCH, will be featured throughout October at the Gig Harbor Pierce County Library. The 12 members of STITCH have styles ranging from abstract through pictorial and employ techniques that go far beyond traditional quilting, including dying, painting, stamping, foiling, beading, embroidering and otherwise exploring the boundaries of what can be done with fabric and quilting. Enjoy the show!
