Artondale Cemetery Veterans Day Commemoration
Artondale Cemetery Association Commemorates Veterans Day
The Artondale Cemetery Association will be hosting a commemoration of all veterans at the Artondale Cemetery, 5512 Hunt Street NW, Gig Harbor, on Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 1:00pm. The public is encouraged to attend.
The Gig Harbor American Legion Post 236, the Gig Harbor Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1854 and the Peninsula Veterans Honor and Color Guard will provide a ceremony including a three volley rifle salute and the playing of Taps as a tribute to our veterans, followed by a flag ceremony by the St. Nicholas Knights of Columbus Council 9238, assisted by Boy Scout flag bearers.

Artondale Cemetery has more than 65 veterans buried at the cemetery and the Knights of Columbus will have placed American flags at each gravesite.
