Running a Business in Today's Italy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…
It is with great pride that the Alliance of Women Owned Businesses (AWOB) announces its January keynote speaker for their monthly meeting.
It’s seldom that Gig Harbor is honored with a local-born native of such distinguished professional accomplishments that include Vice-Consul for the American Consulate General in Italy, Aide to Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs (U.S. Department of State), and Foreign Correspondent for The Daily Telegraph in London. James Hansen, born in Tacoma, has spent most of his adult life in Europe. He is the CEO of Hansen Worldwide, a Milan-based consulting firm specializing in assisting companies in Italy and worldwide with planning and execution of international communications projects. In addition, Mr. Hansen represents the Wall Street Journal in Italy and further owns and operates a news service for foreign correspondents based in Italy.
This super-busy entrepreneur will share his international business experiences, how the entrepreneurial world has changed and what we need to stay globally “connected”.
Join us at 5: pm at the Inn at Gig Harbor on Wednesday, January 9th.
AWOB’s monthly meetings feature a guest speaker on topics of interest to female entrepreneurs. You will meet other women business owners, share your challenges and experiences, and walk away with information that will take your business to the next level.
This event is free to AWOB members and for first time guests. The charge for all others is $25, payable at the door. Join AWOB and attend all of the events for free! You can sign up at this meeting.
Attendees may bring a door prize to get a spotlight moment to promote their business. Business cards are drawn for door prizes
AWOB Meet Me After Hours follows this meeting in the restaurant at the Inn at Gig Harbor – offering time for attendees to converse and continue networking in a casual one-to-one setting.
