Gig Harbor Riding Club at Canterwood

Come join the fun that many kids in our community are already crazy about!!! Bring your horse crazy kid for an hour each Mon or Wed from 4:15-5:15 and let them learn about all things horses. Our kids are having a blast getting their horse fix every week; from grooming to handling to vet care and yes, riding! $50 for four one hour sessions. This is a great way to get your kids involved in an activity that teaches respect, responsibility, self esteem and many, many other wonderful attributes. Parents drop their children off and are free to leave for the hour. Our caring and safety conscious instructors will make sure your child is well cared for and has a blast learning at the same time. Best of all, Gig Harbor Riding Club is located adjacent to the Peacock Hill entrance of Canterwood and minutes from Costco and Target for easy errand running. Purdy Elementary Bus 4 also drops off right in back of our barn!
