“The Legacy project, honoring the history of the Fishing Industry in Gig Harbor from its founding to the present time, is one of those projects.
“A 6 foot 6 inch bronze statue will be installed at the new maritime pier in downtown Gig Harbor.

“At one time in its’ history Gig Harbor was home to the largest fleet on the West Coast fishing in the waters from here to Alaska.
“The Greater Gig Harbor Foundation is offering use of its non-profit 501c3 status allowing donors to “The Big Catch” legacy project to receive a tax deduction.
