Porcelain tile floors that you’ll swear are hardwood floors!

I LOVE my dog however I hate that she has ruined my hardwood floors.
I found a product that is amazing. It looks just like hardwood floors however it’s bullet proof!  You can now purchase porcelain tiles that are dead ringers for hardwood!  The first time I saw these floors I dropped to the floor to feel them!  Absolutely gorgeous and yet so darn durable!

Porcelain tile floors come in all different lengths, widths, colors, with lots of grain and knots…without lots of grain and knots.  You name it.  They have figured this dilemma out!  It is also the perfect style of flooring for areas of your home where moisture exits. Bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, basements and entryways.  I’ve seen entire homes done in porcelain floors even restaurants!  Sure they are pricey however you will never have to refinish them or look at water stains, scratches or even fading again!  That is very intriguing to me.

Here’s more info:

Porcelain tile flooring is extremely durable:

With a PEI rating of ‘4’ (The PEI rating helps you determine the hardness and durability for tile)  these tiles stand up to the test of both residential and light commercial wear in interior settings which makes it the perfect flooring material for many areas of your home.

These wood look tiles are versatile:

Porcelain tiles are suitable for indoor and outdoor floors/walls in freezing and non-freezing climates when proper installation methods are followed. Call Don Stewart of Double Eagle Interiors  for more info or visit their website http://www.doubleeagleinteriors.com for more information on porcelain tiles that looks like wood.

Impermeable:

Porcelain tile floors have a water absorption rate of 0.5% making it highly resistant to moisture, staining, frost and wear due to the density of these tiles, which makes them the perfect floor for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, entryways and basements where moisture is present.

Ugh. That's not good, Starla. How many times a week do you and husband cross, or at least try toRead More cross that crosswalk.

I have seen orange flags (like the kind you use on the boat with a water skier) used at crosswalksRead More in Redmond. Perhaps putting a PVC pipe in the ground on either side of the road or attached to the nearby sign posts with a few flags inside for you to hold out/carry to the other side when you're crossing would be helpful?

Brent, we cross it about at least once a week.
