Fourth Annual Run for Our Sons

Gig Harbor families battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy host Kids' Dash to raise funds.

The Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy hosted the 4th Annual Run for Our Sons, or Kids' Dash for Micah's Miracle Event, at on Saturday. What a blast! If you aren't aware of PPMD, take a look at their website to learn a bit about the cause.

The event saw about 100 kids compete in various races (100 yards for 2-3-year-olds; 400m for 4-5-year-olds, 800m for 6-7-year-olds, and a full mile for 8+). Each of the kids was asked to donate $15 to the PPMD, and one amazing little girl raised over $1,000!

Please visit their web site to learn how you can support some fantastic kids!
