My life has been harried lately, but I took the time to stop in at a wonderful little
shop out on the Key Peninsula yesterday. If you have not visited Marnie Farmer's Vintage+Handmade, you are missing out on a wonderful find. There is a great eclectic vibe about the shop and a great selection of steampunk lamps and the like made by a local craftsman. There are wonderful mixed media paintings and art pieces and if you are a local artist, Marnie Kirk, the owner is open to including you in her space. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and found things I would only expect to see in Seattle or a vintage market. Marnie has a pleasant nature and a discerning eye and her prices are reasonable. I found the perfect silver sequin Christmas tree that I did not know I needed until I saw it. The entire shop is set up that way.
