Alice in Wonderland - A PenMet Family Theater Production

Come to Sehmel Park this Saturday for two performances of Alice in Wonderland by a group of talented local young actors. Admission is free.

 

On Saturday, June 16th, PenMet Family Theater and director Kathleen McGilliard are proud to present a workshop production of Alice in Wonderland as adapted by R. Rochelle. 

There are two performances, 2:00pm and 7:00pm, at .  Admission is free and this is an event that the whole family is sure to enjoy.

This group of 10 young actors has been working diligently on this production (as well as their English accents) for several months and are ready to show off their hard work.

Director Kathleen McGilliard is a veteran of the Gig Harbor theater scene and has teamed up with PenMet Parks to offer a series of introductory and advanced theater classes and workshops.  There are several theater camps coming up this summer for kids 4-7 and three camps for kids 7-18

Kathleen, or “Miss Kathy” to her students, is also directing this summer’s PenMet Family Theater musical production of  "Enchanted Sleeping Beauty" at Sehmel Park on the weekends of Aug 3 through Aug 19.  Last year’s production of The Wizard of Oz was a original adaptation of the L. Frank Baum book.  Kathleen McGilliard wrote and directed the musical that had some great special effects, lots of laughs, and the most adorable dog playing the part of Toto.  This year's  "Enchanted Sleeping Beauty" is a must see in the beautiful .
