Local Restaurant Update: What To Do With the Tides Tavern Closed

With the, I wanted to offer up some local alternatives that will help “tide” you over until they re-open. 

For A Lunch with a View:  Try a completely different view!  and with the cold, rainy weather we have in store for us this week, their homemade soups and clam chowder will help warm you up.  For lunches they have many soup/salad/sandwich combo options to choose from.

Lazy Afternoon:  Instead of spending an afternoon watching it rain on the water over a steaming cup of coffee or a local beer or wine, how about painting a ceramic keepsake while enjoying your beverage? .  Paint a sunny picture while ignoring the rain beating down outside.  They also have snacks to keep you going until you complete your project.

After Work Hangout:  Stop intofrom 3-6pm.  They offer many appetizers for half-off and, of course, drink specials.  Their small lime or flavored margaritas are only $3.75.  The large and inviting bar area offers plenty of seating and televisions so you don't miss a sporting event.

Dinner...with a View:  Still need a waterfront view with your dinner?  How about a different waterfront?  provides an amazing view of Henderson Bay to enjoy along with your classic Italian dinner.  They offer a full bar, generous wine list, and dinner specials every night.

Late Night Snacks/Drinks:  plus they have a late night happy hour from 9pm-Midnight with drink specials and ½ price selected appetizers.  Even during the week!  It’s a great place to get together with friends and enjoy their extensive food and drink menu.

We are looking forward to the Tides re-opening with a brand-new parking lot.  I hope the employees enjoy their week off of work!
