After much anticipation, Facebook hits the stockmarket today.
Each stock of “FB” — as it’ll be known on the Nasdaq — will initially be offered at $38 per share, according to the Huffington Post, which will post continues life updates today.
On a personal note, I joined Facebook in December 2004. And how it’s changed! But through those changes, the online social media platform has allowed me to stay in touch with many friends who I may have otherwise lost touch with.
As a business tool, we use the Gig Harbor Patch page to keep tabs on what’s-what and who’s-who in town (if you haven't "liked" it already, you should!).
I’d like to hear from you: Why, or why haven’t you joined Facebook? Would you pay $38 per share for the FB stock? Have the ads affected your experience?
