The U.S. Geological Survey reports the earthquake occurred at 1!:41 a.m., under Key Center.

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake occurred under the Key Peninsula on Tuesday.

The U.S. Geological Survey reports the incident occurred at 1!:41 a.m., about a mile east of Key Center, some 3.5 miles deep.

Gig Harbor Patch's Facebook users reported feeling it:

"Yep, Henderson Bay was shaking...," wrote user Tory.

"Really short but it was pretty loud when it initially came through our building!" user Erin wrote.
