Austin Seferian-Jenkins on DUI: "I Fell Short"

The Gig Harbor product and University of Washington star released an official statement Monday apologizing for his arrest over the weekend.

Two days after a DUI incident, Gig Harbor product Austin Seferian-Jenkins released an official statement apologizing to his family and teammates.

Several media reports say the 20-year-old was cited for DUI on Saturday night when police pulled over a vehicle with he and several other people on Northeast Ravenna in Seattle.

According to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, Seferian-Jenkins - considered one of the best tight ends in the country - released a statement apologizing to his family, his teammates, the school and his coach:
