Authorities Still Determining Cause of House Fire in Westbridge Estates

The fire Tuesday destroyed a home in the 1700 block of Firgrove Place Northwest.

Authorities still haven't determined what caused a house fire Tuesday that ripped through a home in the Westbridge Estates neighborhood.

The blaze destroyed the unoccupied home in the 1700 block of Firgrove Place Northwest, a fire that prompted a two-alarm response from Gig Harbor Fire & Medic One and other departments.

Firefighters arrived at the cul-de-sac to find fire coming from two sides of the house. They helped bring the two-alarm fire under control after about 45 minutes.
