On Nov. 18, firefighters responded to a call for a trapped deer that was caught between a tree and some fencing. The deer was so exhausted from trying to free itself that one of the crew was able to pick the deer up while other crew members pulled the fencing away from the tree. The deer was uninjured and released by the crew.

On Nov. 18, a man called 911 for assistance after he accidentally cut his arm with a chainsaw. He was trimming a tree when the branch that he was cutting swung back knocking the chainsaw blade into his arm. Medics bandaged the wound and transported him to the hospital for stitches and further care.

On Nov. 19, medics were called to the scene of a driver who pulled over due to tingling in her hands and arms. When the crew arrived, they found she was extremely anxious and hyperventilating. The medic started treatment and transported her to the hospital for a severe anxiety attack.

On Nov. 20, medics treated and transported a 6-year-old who had a seizure. The child had been sick with flu like symptoms and was running a fever.

On Nov. 21, a homeowner was in the shower when the smoke alarms started sounding. She got out of the shower and could smell something electrical burning. She shut off the electrical breakers, evacuated the rest of the family and called 911. Firefighters found that a fluorescent light bulb had overheated. There was no damage to the home.

On Nov. 21, firefighters responded to a vehicle accident on Peacock Hill. The driver told the crew that a van traveling toward her swerved into her lane. She pulled to the left to try to avoid a collision when the van suddenly swerved back into its own lane. There was extensive damage to both vehicles, but both drivers were uninjured, except for a minor abrasion on the head of one of the drivers caused by air bag deployment.

On Nov. 22, medics responded to a woman with severe abdominal pain with vomiting. She said she had been in pain for a few days, and it had gotten worse. Medics transported her to the hospital for evaluation of the cause of her pain.
