GHPD Blotter: Forged Prescription, DUI, Pot Possession

DUI/Arrest: On Jan. 14, police arrested a 46-year-old woman for DUI in the 6200 block of Soundview Drive. She was also issued an infraction for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph speed limit.

Theft: Sometime between Jan. 16 and 20, a box of legal documents were taken from the victim's home in the 3400 block of Erickson Street.

Unlawful Procurement of Prescription Drugs/Arrest: On Jan. 16, police responded to the pharmacy at Safeway in reference to a forged prescription, which indicated 56 pills of Clindamycin, 20 pills of Ibuprofen 800 mg and 75 pills of Vicodin. The pharmacist told police that the 37-year-old woman brought in another forged prescription 3 days prior to the incident. Police later arrested the woman for unlawful procurement of prescription drugs.

Theft: Sometime between Jan. 17-18, an unknown suspect stole a 125-ft 50 amp wire cable from a construction site in the 8800 block of Franklin Street.

Warrant/Arrest: On Jan .17, police arrested a 33-year-old man for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from Kitsap County for domestic violence and a misdemeanor warrant for violation of a no contact order from Pierce County District Court.

Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance/Arrest: On Jan. 21, police arrested a 19-year-old man for unlawful possession of controlled substance. The suspect said he came to the Rodda Paint parking lot, 4909 33rd Ave. Ct. NW, to smoke marijuana. Police found 2.5 grams of marijuana and glass marijuana pipe in the man's car.
