GHPD Blotter: Nov. 22

Theft: On Nov. 10, police responded to a theft at the parking lot. According to the victim, she placed her purse in the child seat area of the shopping cart while she loaded her things into the vehicle. When she went back to the cart, her purse was missing.

Vehicle Prowl/Vandalism: Sometime between Nov. 12 and 14, an unknown suspect(s) broke into a van at , 9803 44th Ave. NW. The victim said about 10 gallons of gasoline were missing from the tank.

Shoplifting/Arrest: On Nov. 15, police arrested a 33-year-old woman for shoplifting at . Security officers said they witnessed the woman trying to leave the store with a total of $1,096 in items without paying. The suspect was trespassed from Target for five years.

I have seen orange flags (like the kind you use on the boat with a water skier) used at crosswalksRead More in Redmond. Perhaps putting a PVC pipe in the ground on either side of the road or attached to the nearby sign posts with a few flags inside for you to hold out/carry to the other side when you're crossing would be helpful?
