GHPD Blotter: Police Respond to Four Domestic Disputes in One Weekend

Found Property: On May 29, a resident found two bicycles hidden in some bushes at his home in the 9100 block of Prentice Avenue.

Domestic Dispute: On June 2, police responded to a domestic dispute in the 9500 block of Randall Drive NW. They arrested a man for fourth-degree domestic violence assault.

Domestic Dispute: On June 2, police responded to a physical domestic dispute in the 6200 block of Soundview Drive. According to the police report, the wife said her husband strangled her during an argument, and he also tried to prevent her from leaving their home. Police arrested the 17-year-old man for second-degree assault domestic violence and unlawful imprisonment.

Domestic Dispute: On June 2, police were dispatched to a home in the 5900 block of Soundview Drive in reference to a domestic assault. Police said a 20-year-old man was injured when his 22-year-old girlfriend hurt his arm during an argument. Due to lack of evidence, authorities decided not to arrest the woman.

Warrant/Arrest: On June 2, police were dispatched in reference to a 24-year-old man causing a disturbance near St. Nicholas Church. His records indicated three outstanding warrants for third-degree DWLS and a total bail of $10,000. He was transported to Pierce County Jail

Domestic Dispute: On June 3, police were dispatched to Harborwood West Apartments in reference to a physical domestic violence. A man reported that his wife pushed him, grabbed him by the throat and threatened to kill herself if he left. The woman was arrested for fourth-degree assault for domestic violence and malicious mischief.

Vehicle Prowl: On June 3, police were dispatched to Harbor Village Apartments in reference to a car prowl. An unknown suspect(s) took four tool kits valued at approximately $1,700.

Liquor Law Violation/Arrest: On June 3, police were dispatched to a home in the 9400 block of Peacock Hill Avenue in reference to a loud party. After investigation, police arrested a 20-year-old man for minor in possession of alcohol. They also arrested another 20-year-old man for minor in possession of intoxication and furnishing liquor to minors.

Vehicle Prowl: On June 3, an unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's unlocked vehicle in the 4200 block of Rosedale Street. The victim's house and car keys were missing from the vehicle.

DUI/Arrest: On June 4, police arrested a 26-year-old man for DUI in the 5600 block of 32nd Avenue NW.

Vehicle Prowl: On June 5, an unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's unlocked vehicle in the 3400 block of Erickson Street and stole camping items.

DWLS/Arrest: On June 6, police arrested a 35-year-old woman near 38th Avenue NW and Hunt Street NW for driving with a suspended license due to unpaid tickets. The driver also did not have insurance.

Theft: On June 6, a 13-year-old female student reported that her backpack was stolen at Harbor Ridge Middle School. She had placed her backpack in the hallway to use a school computer. After about 20 minutes, the backpack was missing. The bag contained a digital camera, Nintendo DSI 3D and DSI XL and a cell phone.
