GHPD Blotter: Thieves Break into Hy Iu Hee Hee, Nothing Reported Missing

Warrant/Arrest: On Dec. 20, police arrested a 21-year-old man in the 14400 block of Peacock Hill Avenue NW for four warrants out of Gig Harbor.

Vandalism: On Dec. 21, police were dispatched in reference to a vandalism call in the 10600 block of 63rd Avenue NW. Police found a broken window on the garage wall.

Simple Assault/Harassment/Arrest: On Dec. 24, police responded to a domestic violence call in the 6100 block of Soundview Drive. They arrested an 18-year-old man for two counts of fourth-degree assault and one count of harassment/threats to kill.

Residential Burglary/Vandalism: On Dec. 24, police were dispatched to for a possible burglary. The victim reported that his enclosed marijuana growing box and snowboard boots were missing.

Motor Vehicle Recovery: On Dec. 25, police found a stolen red Honda Civic in the parking lot of .

Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance/Arrest: On Dec. 25, police arrested two 17-year-old boys for 2.9 grams of marijuana near Baltic Street and Portage Place NW.

Burglary: On Dec. 27, police were dispatched to a burglary alarm at . When they arrived on scene, the front door had been forced opened, and there were two sets of wet footprints outside the door. The surveillance video showed two suspects wearing black hooded sweatshirts with white designs on the front, blue jeans and white gloves. They also had bandanas or masks over their faces. One suspect was about 5'10" and heavy set. The other was 5'8", thin and was carrying a crowbar. The manager told police nothing was missing from the restaurant.
