GHPD Blotter: Thieves Steal Beer Kegs From Tides Tavern

Residential Burglary/Trafficking of Stolen Property/Possession of Stolen Property/Arrest: Sometime between July 26 and 31, burglars stole two flat-screen TVs, camera and an engagement ring while the resident was out of town from her home in the 7400 block of Soundview Drive. 

On Aug. 22, police discovered that the ring, worth $12,100, was pawned in Federal Way on Aug. 3.

Upon investigation, police arrested the 20-year-old man in Edgewood for residential burglary, trafficking of stolen property and criminal conspiracy. Police said the man was homeless and transient. They also arrested another 20-year-old man, who was booked into Pierce County Jail for a violations of residential burglary, trafficking of stolen property, possession of stolen property, money laundering and criminal conspiracy.

Theft/Burglary: On Aug. 22, police were dispatched to for a reported burglary. Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole four beer kegs from the keg storage locker next to the building. Surveillance footage showed a man and woman taking the kegs from the locker. Total estimated loss: $180.

DWLS/Arrest: On Aug. 24, police arrested a 41-year-old man in the 7300 block of Soundview Drive. He was cited for third-degree DWLS and an infraction for no insurance and for expired vehicle registration over two months.

DWLS/Arrest: On Aug. 25, police arrested a 39-year-old woman in the 3500 block of Harborview Drive. She was cited for third-degree DWLS and an infraction for no insurance.

Residential Burglary/Vehicle Prowl: On Aug. 26, an unknown subject(s) broke the front passenger window of a car parked at the . The thief removed the vehicle's black leather registration folder containing the registration, insurance card and vehicle manual.

Found Property: On Aug. 28, police were dispatched to for drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles that were found at the store.
