On May 25, crews responded to reports that a 16-year-old female attempted to harm herself by inhaling 2/3rds of an insect fogger spray and swallowing an unknown quantity of multi-vitamins and iron supplements. When crews arrived, she also stated that she cut her left leg from knee to ankle with a razor blade. She was complaining of a sore throat and abdominal pain and had vomited 5 times since inhaling the fogger and taking the pills. She was immediately transported to a hospital for treatment.

On May 25, crews were called to an allergic reaction involving a 19-month-old girl. She was given a peanut butter cookie, and her parents noticed an almost immediate reaction as she began drooling and throwing up, and her neck turned red. The child has a history of dairy and egg allergies so her mother used her EPI pen. Crews transported her to a hospital for further evaluation.

On May 25, crews responded to a motorcycle accident in the 2800 block of East Bay Drive NW. A bystander was driving on East Bay when he noticed a large motorcycle lying in the road, and the rider was approximately 20 to 25 feet from the motorcycle with his helmet on. The bystander took the helmet off of the man to see if he was breathing and noted that he was unconscious, unresponsive, and had a slow respiratory rate. Crews transported him to a hospital and did CPR during transport. The man was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

On May 26, crews were dispatched to downed telecommunication lines that were completely blocking the 6000 block of 144th Street NW as well as a broken telephone pole off the roadway. Engines blocked both lanes of traffic and made contact with Peninsula Light to verify there were no power lines involved. A witness reported that he had seen a garbage truck snag/snap the wire 15 minutes prior. Peninsula Light cut the wires and cleared the roadway, and CenturyLink was notified of the telephone line and broken pole.

On May 26, staff at a senior living facility stated that their patient had eaten lunch and was given his insulin when he began experiencing seizure-like activity for approximately 5 minutes. Crews arrived and found his blood sugar to be low so they gave him glucose. While his blood sugar did not increase, the patient remained alert. Crews transported him to the hospital, during which his blood sugar improved.

On May 28, crews were dispatched to a car fire in the TCC parking lot in Gig Harbor. Upon arrival, crews found a Jeep Cherokee backed into a parking spot with the hood up. There was smoke coming from the engine compartment. They disconnected the battery and poured a few bottles of water on the engine block to cool it. AAA was called, and a tow truck was arranged to come take the car. The woman needed to get to work and was given a ride from the crew on the engine.

On May 29, an inmate at the Washington Corrections Center for Women was found lying on the floor of her cell in full seizure. She was brought to the registered nurse at the clinic and was fine for about 10 minutes when she began seizing again. Crews were called to the prison to transport the inmate to a hospital.

On May 30, a woman was driving over the Pt. Fosdick overpass when she collided with another vehicle. Crews responded to complaints of back and neck/shoulder pain. After a detailed physical examination, crews transported her to a hospital for further treatment.
