The mother of the homicide victim, Leon Baucham, is speaking out after insensitive comments were posted on the Internet, according to KIRO TV.
LaVonne Brown said her son worked at Boeing and loved his family. She denied any claims of him using drugs or being a member of a gang.

According to the Pierce County Medical Examiner, the cause of death has been determined as a gunshot wound to the torso. Officials are investigating his death as a homicide.
