Police Arrest 46-Year-Old Man for Rape
A 46-year-old man was arrested on Sunday after being accused of raping a 37-year-old woman at an apartment complex.
A 46-year-old man is behind bars after being accused of raping a 37-year-old woman in an apartment complex in the 6100 block of Soundview Drive.
According to the , the crime took place just before 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 13. Police said the victim was an Asian woman with a developmental disability. She told police that the suspect, who was a frequent visitor to a nearby apartment, sexaully assaulted her.
Police said they located the suspect outside the apartment complex. They arrested the man after interviewing him regarding the allegations and transported him to the Pierce County Jail for second degree rape.

Since the man has not been formally charged, the police has not released the suspect's name.
