Strong: 'I Take Full Responsibility' for DUI Arrest

The Gig Harbor High School principal issued an apology statement through his attorney on Friday.

In response to Strong's statement, his wife Stephanie provided the following statement through her attorney, Felicia Malsby:

"While this is a difficult time for our family, we support Ted's efforts moving forward and are committed to his well-being. As a family, we are grateful to the community for their support. We respectfully request our privacy be honored so we can work through this time in peace."

principal Ted Strong released the following statement via his attorney, Maryann Di Re, on Friday afternoon:      

I sincerely apologize to my family, friends, administrators, students and community for my recent actions.  I take full responsibility and am now engaging in the necessary steps to address those poor decisions.  My wife and I intend on working through our separation amicably, always keeping in mind the best interests of our children.  Therefore, we ask for your understanding and respect of our privacy while we work through this difficult time.  

Strong was arrested on Tuesday on near Fox Island. Since then, the has placed him on administrative leave.
