UPDATE: 8:14 p.m., 8/11/2012

Authorities are now saying that three people were injured in today's shooting at Peninsula Market in Wauna.

According to The Seattle Times, Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer says the 20-year-old woman who opened fire didn't have any connection to the victims, just that she didn't like them:

One of the victims was in serious condition at Tacoma General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the midsection, Troyer said. Another man, shot in the leg, also was taken to Tacoma General. A third man, who appeared to have been grazed by a ricocheting bullet, received treatment at a medical clinic.

The Times also spoke to Greg and Maureen Sikora, a Key Peninsula couple who were nearby when they heard the shots. Maureen Sikora said she sat on the woman and talked to her, trying to keep her calm.

"The woman said she had been molested, and she just wanted to kill men and kill herself, but that she had run out of bullets," Maureen Sikora said.

Several news outlets spoke to witnesses at the shop, who said they saw a woman walk into the Peninsula Market and open fire.

Two people subdued the woman until authorities arrived.

"I asked her if she wanted to buy a ticket, she was very calm and she said no not today and she went into the store," said Ensor.

She says moments later, that woman's demeanor completely changed.

"She was in there screaming and hollering ... I couldn't hear what she was saying ... but the next thing I knew she threw her arms up, and pop, pop, pop and the next thing I know there was two men down," said Ensor.

The woman fired number of shots, two striking two people. A 76-year-old man was shot in the leg, and a man in his 30s was shot in the abdomen.
