User Spots Graffiti Around Gig Harbor On Morning Run

A Gig Harbor Patch Facebook user says he spotted two instances of vandalism - one at the Old Ferry Landing; the other at Eddon Boat - on his morning run.

A Patch user says he has spotted graffiti twice in the last week during his morning run, and he hopes the public can help find the vandals.

Gig Harbor Patch Facebook user Lee contacted Patch and shared the above photos:

"Hi, I run around the Harbor three or four times a week, pretty much the same route," Lee wrote. "This vandalism at the Old Ferry Landing appeared to me last Tuesday, then I noticed the vandalism on the Boat Building for the first time on Tuesday of this week."

Sure enough, the picture depicts two pieces of graffiti, one at the base of the Old Ferry Landing and the other at the base of the Eddon Boat Building.

Lee said he has contacted Gig Harbor Police, but "if you would like to post them to see if anyone knows who it is, or can provide any leads, that would be much appreciated."

The initials on the graffiti appear to be "MIN."

If you have seen anyone or anything suspicious, call authorities.
