Six-year-old Noah Pozner's funeral was held Monday. It was among the first funerals held for victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
Pozner's uncle, Alexis Haller of Woodinville, read the eulogy, according to an AP report posted on KIRO TV's website. A portion of the message follows:
On Friday, Dec. 14, we tragically lost a most beloved member of our family. Noah was a 6-year-old little boy, and he was so dear to all of our hearts.
Words cannot express the unfathomable loss we feel.
Noah was a wonderful son and a loving brother. He was kind, caring, smart, funny, and sometimes even a little mischievous. He liked to tell his sisters that he worked in a taco factory; when they asked him how he got to work, he would give them a funny look as if to say he knew something that they didn't.
Noah was a little kid. He loved animals, video games and Mario Brothers. He was already a very good reader, and had just bought a Ninjago book at a book fair that he was really excited about reading. He was also very excited about going to a birthday party he had been invited to. It was to take place on Saturday, Dec. 15.
Noah, we love you so much, we miss you dearly, and we will never, ever forget you.
Funeral services were held at Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home, 88 Beach Road, Fairfield. Burial was set to follow at B'nai Israel Cemetery, Monroe.

As the Connecticut shooting victims' stories begin to emerge, a 6-year-old boy killed Friday was remembered by his uncle who lives in Woodinville, according to an Associated Press story on the Huffington Post website.
Noah Pozner was "smart as a whip," gentle but with a rambunctious streak, said his uncle, Alexis Haller. Noah's twin sister Arielle, assigned to a different classroom, survived the shooting. He called her his best friend, and with their 8-year-old sister, Sophia, they were inseparable, the report says.
"They were always playing together, they loved to do things together," Haller said. When his mother, a nurse, would tell him she loved him, he would answer, "Not as much as I love you, Mom."
Haller said Noah loved to read and liked to figure out how things worked mechanically. For his birthday two weeks ago, he got a new Wii.
"He was just a really lively, smart kid," Haller said. "He would have become a great man, I think. He would have grown up to be a great dad."
Connecticut State Police released the names Saturday of the 20 children and six adults killed Friday in the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
