City Employees Honored for 20 Years of Service

Four Gig Harbor employees celebrated their 20 years of service with the City of Gig Harbor at a pot luck lunch on Wednesday.

The hosted a pot luck lunch on Wednesday to celebrate four of its employees who have worked 20 years for the city.

Sgt. Kelly Busey, operations field supervisor Jim Stattin, public works Tony Poling and city clerk Molly Towslee said they've all enjoyed the family atmosphere and support from their colleagues.

"It's important to have positive coworkers especially when you're pulling through tough times," Towslee said. "They're my second family."

While Towslee said she's looking forward to another two decades with the city, Poling said he has different plans.

"There's no way I'm working another 20 years," he said. "I'll work for 10 more years, and I'm out."
