Join local firefighters today for the traditional "wetting-down" ceremony as welcomes its new fire apparatus. The event will be at Station 52 off Pt. Fosdick Drive and will start at 10 a.m. The firefighters will pump out water from the old engine and transfer it into the new one. The main ceremony is about 20 minutes, followed by refreshments and an opportunity to meet the firefighters. The event is free and open to the public.
