Boss, Morrison Lead in PenMet Parks Commissioner Primary Race

The Pierce County Auditor's Office released the first round of results for Tuesday's primary election. Candidates Andrew Morrison and Randy Boss are leading the race for the PenMet Parks Commissioner position.

It looks like and Andrew Morrison with face each other in the November general election, according to the early returns in the PenMet Parks Commissioner primary.

Boss, who served on the district's board in 2004-05, showed a strong lead with almost 40 percent of the votes in the initial returns Tuesday night. trailed for second placed with 28 percent.

Meanwhile, Ashlee Lehnert and incumbent each received nearly 16 percent of the votes.

The Pierce County Auditor's Office released the first round of results around 8 p.m. The following tally represent the ballots that were processed through Election Day and the voting centers.
