No Narrows Bridge Rate Increase For One Year

The Kitsap Sun reports that WSDOT says the toll rates for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge won't be increased until next July because of various glitches in the system.

Residents of Gig Harbor and Key Peninsula can rest easy, for at least the next year, before they start worrying about paying more to cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

In light of , Electronic Transactions Consultants Corp. (ETCC), State Department of Transportation officials said they won't increase the rates on the Narrows bridge until next July, according to the Kitsap Sun.

Instead, the commuters on the 520 floating bridge or ETCC will foot the bill for additional costs.

Drivers currently pay $4, or $2.75 for Good to Go customers, to enter Tacoma from Gig Harbor.
