Passport, Pet Licensing Services Offered At Pierce County Auditor's Fair Saturday

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pierce County Annex in Tacoma.

The Pierce County Auditor's Office will open its doors on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accept passport applications and to provide marriage, pet, vehicle and boat licensing services.

The office is located at the Pierce County Annex, 2401 S 35th St, Room 200, in Tacoma.

"Are you planning a trip, need to renew your car tabs, or getting married soon? If so, we have created a special Saturday Fair to serve you," said Pierce County Auditor Julie Anderson. "And, we have joined forces with our partner licensing agencies to waive pet licensing late fees this month, so now is a perfect time to renew your pet license if you've let it lapse."

Many families are busy during the week with work, school, sports and other activities. For many of those customers, it is difficult to take care of business during the workday. The special Saturday hours cater to these working families.

The Auditor holds two Saturday fairs each year. "We predict that 300 citizens will access our services on Saturday," Anderson said.
