Second Meeting Set for Narrows Bridge Citizen Advisory Group

The Tacoma Narrows Bridge Citizen Advisory Committee will discuss new toll rates for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge at a second meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the . An informational open house hosted by the Washington State Department of Transportation will precede the meeting.
The group will consider additional rate scenarios for further analysis before recommending a new toll rate to the Washington State Transportation Commission in March.
Before the Feb. 8 committee meeting, WSDOT transportation and financial experts will host an educational open house and answer questions about the toll rate-setting process and financial scenarios.

The open house will run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the committee meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Both events will occur at the Gig Harbor Civic Center, 3510 Grandview St.
