TODAY: Deadline to Register to Vote in August Primary

Today's the deadline to register to vote, and Pierce County has options to get you signed up for the August primary.

Are you registered to vote?

Today is the last day for citizens to register to vote in the upcoming Aug. 7 primary.

If you haven't filled out your paperwork yet, you can still register online or in person, today.

Here's how:

  • Register to vote online using MyVote. There, you simply provide your name and birthday and are automatically logged in. You can view ballot dropoff locations, candidates and ballot measures, plus a list of elected officials in your district.
  • Print an application and mail in your voter registration form. Applications must be postmarked today in order to be counted for this upcoming election. We've uploaded the PDF to this article so you can print it from Patch directly, or find it here
  • Stop by the Pierce County Auditor's Office, located at 2501 S. 35th St. Suite C. The office closes at 4:30 p.m. today.
