University Place Woman Says Obama's Victory Was A Statement: "They Can't Have It Back"

Jennifer Haberman - who an election night party for Derek Kilmer in Tacoma - spoke immediately after President Barack Obama won the election.

Jennifer Haberman says President Barack Obama's election Tuesday night was pivotal for the direction of this country.

"Honestly, I think that there's an older, more conservative part of this country that realizes that they're starting to lose control, and they want it back," the University Place woman said while attending a victory party for newly elected Congressman Derek Kilmer in Tacoma's Hotel Murano.

"We just made a statement to them that they can't have it back."

What do you think? What statement did Obama's re-election make?

"We just made a statement to them that they can't have it back." That is one of the stupisest statements I have ever heard....rather like a kid on a play ground saying, nanny-nanny-nah-nah.

More Government, higher taxes, more redistribution of wealth, and an ever bigger welfare state. And, don't forget the FREE Obama phones! Ask not what you can do for your country, but, instead, ask what your country can do for you. Abe Lincoln was right: You can fool some of the people all of the time. Rather ironic that you can have delusions of grandeur on the other guy's dime
