When Can I Use Fireworks This Week?

Starting Tuesday, June 28, the City of Gig Harbor and unincorporated Pierce County residents are allowed to shoot off fireworks.

If you're planning on celebrating the Fourth of July weekend with fireworks, here's when you can use them.

Inside Gig Harbor city limits:

Fireworks can be used from June 28 to July 5.

  • June 28, noon to 11 p.m.
  • June 29 to July 4, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • July 5, 7 a.m. to noon

All fireworks must include the “Safe and Sane” designation. Click here for more information.

  • July 4, 9 a.m. to midnight
  • July 5, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Fireworks may be discharged on private property with the permission of the property owner. You are responsible for any property damage or fires that result from your use of fireworks.
