4 story+ buildings are already in the city code for downtown Gig Harbor!!!

Oct. 14, 5:30pm is the Gig Harbor City Council meeting.  Residents and non residents will have 3 minutes to make their public comment on the proposed new zoning amendments for the waterside of Harborview Drive.
  The proposed new amendment would allow 2 story, flat roof commercial buildings on the waterside of Harborview Dr from Rosedale to past the Green Turtle.  If this happens the only choice those folks on the uphill side of Harborview Drive will have to keep their view is to go big and tall.
 "Ms. Kester stated that the City Council will be allowing larger developers to enter into a development agreement to allow for more gross floor area, etc."  Those taller buildings are already in the city code and just waiting.....
