I don't know how many folks are aware of this, but people who go by way of the 520 bridge and pay a toll do not pay the highest rate at all times. Not like what goes on here in Gig Harbor.
Starting July, it will be $4 a pop. Did we get a chance to vote on that? The folks on the eastside, pay varying rates. If you cross late at night, you will not be paying the same as the folks who are in the rush hour crowd.
I say we get a petition going to 1. get the toll rate hike on the ballot. 2. implement a varying rate for a toll for those who go across the bridge at varying times.
