The Shy Boys Were at Forza and so were many "Baby Boomers"

Gig Harbor has its favorite band, who are homegrown: The Shy Boys!! I first found out about the Shy Boys when they had a concert at Uptown Gig Harbor. I loved them right away.

Who wouldn't love a band, who knows how to "Kill you softly with each song?"...who dredges up your memories and suddenly you are transported to your high school days? Well maybe that might not be a good thing for some, but its just fun going down memory lane. Let's face it...it really is a wonderful thing to be born in the late 50s because you have so many decades to remember!!!

And the Shy Boys take advantage of that. Their crowd is mainly the 50-70 something crowd who can rock with the best of them. We even can sing most of the lines of "American Pie". There we were at , all of us, just waiting to hear what the next song would be, so we could dance and go crazy and just have a great time.

While we were there, we let go of the corporate world, our "grown up lives" and were once again, just teens, rocking out. It was a very fun time! Of course the younger folks there looked at us like we were nuts! Who cares? Someday they will understand. Maybe.
