We are stuck between a bridge and a hard place for sure! Living in Gig Harbor and having to go over to Tacoma leaves only one option: using the bridge.
Don't you love it when the powers that be know that and feel they can raise toll prices by divine fiat and yet cowtow to us and say we can "vote" on it? You know they have already made up their mind!
The funny thing is: unless you work in Tacoma, I bet you will find ways to not have to go over there. Yes there is a World Market, yes there is a Trader Joes, but heck, Gig Harbor is getting their own slew of shops thankyouverymuch! The people who should vote in this are the kind shop owners of Tacoma!
If $4 starts to get to your budget after awhile, you might not want to darken the doors of the shops of Tacoma. So, wisen up people. We are all in this together! For once, oh great toll deciders....take into consideration the times that we are in!
Take into consideration the gas prices...stop putting more straw on the camel's back! Good to go? More like Fleeced to go!
