I suggest the administrator(s) involved also be written up and put on administrative leave as well for not doing more to resolve this issue which is a huge one at Kopachuck M.S. Administrative leave means, however, a 'vacation' with pay. If found guilty, they should lose their jobs and have to pay back what they've been paid since last school year when this horrible incident occurred.

Administrator as well as the state should take this mans teaching certification! As a teacher myself as well as the mother of a young man who is smaller in stature I am shocked by this man's behavior and hope he was never allowed around children again!

why not call it what it really is assault/battery. stop sugar coating it just because it happened at a school. if that happened to anyone in public it would be called assault/battery. why isnt this person in jail. he wasnt punished, he is being protected. i say dont use the word bully ever again...start calling it by its real legal term ASSAULT/BATTERY!!!!

This story makes me so sad. Mr. Rosi was my wrestling coach almost 15 years ago. He was an amazing mentor and coach to my whole team. I find it really interesting that it is no where mentioned that he has been a wrestling coach for over a decade. I do not know the true details of this story, but I am certain the whole story has not been told. I would be perfectly confident and proud to have my children be taught by Coach Rosi. We all make errors in judgement, and it's obvious a mistake was made in this situation. However, I don't believe for one minute that Mr. Rosi is an unfit teacher, and wish the gifts he shared with me and countless others could be as widely known as this one lapse in judgement.

Has KMS and Harbor Ridge discussed this incident with students at school? The student body would know that something happened, many would have seen the video. How will new 6th graders feel about going to school after seeing this? What happened with the other students who participated in harming the boy in this video, what has been done to address their actions and the impact of the aftermath on them? Very bad behavior, but also a time when kids participate in actions without thinking it through, being 11 - 12 - 13 and not having the judgement/awareness skills of an adult. How can the students learn from this? How can the community of teachers, parents, and administrators turn this around to create a safer, more aware, more kind environment?

Amber, Have you seen the video? If you can support Mr. Rosi after the video I think you are crazy. He may have been a good wrestling coach 15yrs ago, but he has changed. If I ever saw him allowing that to happen to student in the future I'd would tie him up and put socks in his mouth just like he did to the student. As a teacher myself I am appalled!
