Learn to Write Winning Grants for Free

People will learn how to effectively use census data to write grants during a free workshop at , on Tuesday, Aug. 9, from 2 to 5 p.m. 

Participants will review the basics of using census data in writing grant proposals, and how to locate census demographics to help build an effective case for project funding. 

Topics covered will include the new American Fact Finder website tool, Decennial Census products, American Community Survey, Population Estimates Program and other surveys. Attendees will go online and learn to access mapping tools, tables and other government grant writing resources.
