Breakdown: The Tides rebounded nicely last week, rolling over Graham-Kapowsin 42-7 for their first win of the young season. Gig Harbor (1-1) went to a two-quarterback approach last week where Jake Ayers and Garrett Gallanger combined for five touchdowns. Mt. Tahoma is 2-0 on the season, following its season opening win against Lincoln with a 43-14 win over Foss last week. Rondie Pate has rushed for 188 yards in two games for Mt. Tahoma, while Tevin Novak has rushed for five touchdowns in two games for the T-birds.
