Breakdown: Peninsula rebounded from its first loss of the season, 33-13 defeat to Lakes two weeks ago, with a close win over Bonney Lake last week. The Seahawks bounced to a 21-0 lead in that game before falling behind 38-34 and needing a late rally to close it out.

Peninsula continues to rely on running back Danny Welstad, who has rushed for more than 1,000 yards and 20 touchdowns through six games, but also threw for two touchdowns against the Panthers.

Auburn Mountainview comes in as the surprise of the SPSL 3A at 5-1. Since an opening-week 28-13 loss to Sumner, the Panthers are 5-0 and averaging more than 31 points per game during its winning streak.
