High School Football: Peninsula vs. Wilson

With two wins under their belt this season, the Seahawks look for their third victory on Friday night against Wilson High School.

What: Peninsula vs. Wilson

Where: Roy Anderson Field,

When: Friday, Sept. 16, 7 p.m.

Breakdown: Peninsula has burst onto the 3A scene in the first two games of the 2011 season and is now ranked 8th in the state by the Seattle Times. The Seahawks followed up their with a 42-21 win over Eastside Catholic last week. Both teams that Peninsula has defeated have posted big wins in their other games. Senior running back Danny Welstad is off to a blistering start, rushing for ten touchdowns in his first two games, including four last week against the Crusaders. Wilson is off to an 0-2 start, having been outscored 72-25 in its two games to start the season, including a 45-loss to Bellarmine Prep last week.

PHS is going to dominate Wilson. The only way Wilson will get those 14 points is if the JV plays in the 2nd half just like last week.
