Peninsula, Gig Harbor Programs Nominated For 5th Avenue Awards

The Gig Harbor-area schools are nominees for the 5th Avenue Theatre's annual awards for high school theater.

Gig Harbor and Peninsula High's theater programs are nominated for some prestigious honors from Seattle's famed 5th Avenue Theatre.

After viewing 105 high school theater productions throughout Washington, the Seattle theater released its list of nominees for its 5th Avenue Awards.

Both schools' programs were included in the list:

Peninsula

  • Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role: Lydia Bill as Paulette, Peninsula High School, Legally Blonde
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Featured Ensemble Role: Jane Johnson as Enid, Peninsula High School, Legally Blonde
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Featured Ensemble Role: Blake Dukowitz as Kyle, Peninsula High School, Legally Blonde
Gig Harbor
  • Outstanding Scenic Design: Gig Harbor High School, Annie Get Your Gun
  • Outstanding Stage Crew: Gig Harbor High School, Annie Get Your Gun
  • Outstanding Performance by an Actor or Actress in a Non-Singing Role: Jake Choate as Sitting Bull, Gig Harbor High School, Annie Get Your Gun
